I have always enjoyed traveling. When our kids were little, we spent many hours driving to Port Angeles, Vancouver Island, Sorrento, and Prince George to visit family. We even spent 3 weeks on the East Coast when my sister was living in Nova Scotia. Looking back, I have always looked for opportunities to travel. We spent time in Parksville, Tofino, Lake Cowichan, the Great Wolf Lodge… the list goes on an on. There was so much to see and do, even as a young family with 3 young children and very little money.
